The choir event/show and sale at Aish/Ahavas Yisroel in Greenwood Village was great! Everyone complained about the choir's performance! They said it was WAY too short! People loved my Jewish magnet sets and Tile Art that I showed along with prints and cards before the performance. Maybe I can fulfill my "professional singer" fantasy after all...artists usually are multi-talented.
The exhibition sponsored by the Bais Chabad in Detroit at the Metro Detroit Jewish Community Center from February 11-13 was wonderful. I really sold a lot of work-from the metal to new prints to cards, tiles and magnets. I also sold 2 of my "mini-paintings"-original small paintings in fantastic frames. Some of the comments were: "Your work is so jouous"!; "I LOVE the colors" (I heard that one often); "Your work is so lively"... Lots of nice words.
The Jewish Experience has postponed the March Spiritual Spa. The "Exploring Spirituality through watercolor" Workshop that Arel gave last year was so popular that as soon as a venue is found, she will be offering it on her own. Stay posted!
