Jerusalem New Year Rosh Hashanah New Year's Card

From the back of the card:

Jerusalem is known as the Heart of the Jewish People. In Jewish spirituality, our souls yearn for closeness with the Almighty in both time and place. The holiest of times are the Days of Awe—Rosh Hashanah , the first day of the Jewish year when the Shofar, the ram’s horn, is sounded leading up to Yom Kippur, the tenth day, the day and number of completion. The holiest place in the world is Jerusalem. Thus, the Jewish people have yearned for millennia to celebrate the Days of Awe in the holy city of Jerusalem. In this painting Arel evokes both the feeling of the city of Jerusalem in our hearts and our looking up toward the Heavens to the day when the Shofar will be sounded in peace in our holy city.
